Intelligent motion is a form of intelligence that allows you to orient your thoughts, movements, and behavior to your unique needs. I often talk about intention in my classes, and the power it has at the beginning of a practice. " - M
Movement intelligence is an ability to understand why a particular movement is beneficial to one, harmful to another, and the impact it can have on our physical health, our vital force, our emotional body, our social relationships, our hormonal system, etc. It is a question of understanding the impact of the movement as a whole, and once understood, of directing it humbly towards an optimal vital energy.
Discipline is not the answer to everything, on the contrary; the human body is far too complex to reduce it to a dogma or a single practice. It is this line of reflection that will guide the classes, with humility, at every moment. We engage this training with a very intense physical practice, in order to understand its impact on our vital energy, and to reach this state of unconditional and permanent joy.

In a vinyasa class, each movement is related to breath. Vinyasa practice removes stagnant energy from the body, mind, and spirit. it is a delicate balance of yoga from the past and present, infusing modern sequences with classical hatha yoga postures and pranayama breathing techniques.
This combination of postures and breath work has a profound effect to ground one’s spirit in the physical body.

Mysore Style is the traditional way of teaching the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. In Mysore class, the practice is not led.
Everyone works within his or her own breathing rhythm and capabilities; growing with the practice to ensure a life-long sustainable practice. Each person comes and starts and finishes their practice at their own time (within the time limits specified on the schedule).
In this course, everything is allowed! If you like the dynamic movement that goes off the beaten path, this course is for you!

The yin path is gentle and a surprisingly powerful method to invoke change in body and mind. Yin Yoga is the sequence of Hatha Yoga ground postures and Taoist Chinese practice. Postures are usually held between 3 and 5 minutes (see more) in a relaxed manner, with an attitude of observation and acceptance
If you need a break from weights, try this strength training class that uses sliders instead.
